Handicapped Kids

3 Feb 2010, a group of ICF-ers had participated in this event. Just to clarify in case you're wondering why they are called as handicaps. They are not physically handicapped kids, but more to known as mentally slower than an usual person. E.g. A man who is aged 20 could have a mentality of a 5 years kid. Our God is a fair God. He is not bias and selective. As He has created EVERY one of us by his own image and given each of us a pure heart and a talent, no matter what race are we, what background we come from, what situation can it be, we should constantly LOVE each other just as He loves us.

A total of nearly 30 of them arrived. Some came with their own parents too. All of them were dressed up in a purple uniform. While waiting, we were sitting down and chatting with them. The event started at about 2 plus.

KABOOOMM! How are you guys doing? Anyway, whether we're doing good or not, we all still need God's grace, guidance, Spirit & wisdom everyday of our lives & of course many many prayers. It's the truth, whether we LIKE IT OR NOT.

So, for the sake of those who do not know, we're gonna select THREE persons every week to be prayed for. Yes, we all will pray together for them. This is not necessarily that these people are having big time troubles in their lives, hence they're being prayed for. No no, we're just randomly choosing the people to be prayed for. Like I said, we all need God's strength, grace & guidance everyday, so we will be like ONE FAMILY IN CHRIST, constantly praying for others - even if you don't know them personally. =). Just like what God said in His Word,

I urge, then first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. … I want men everywhere to lift up holy hands in prayer, without anger or disputing" —1 Timothy 2:1-4, 8.

"watch and P-R-A-Y.........."

We have always been focusing on praying for the happenings in ICF. Shall we go further this time? We are Christians of this nation & of the world that are watching & praying constantly.

Too many times, we all tend to just watch, we watch the news on the TV & grieve over the misfortune that has just happened, and it ends there. God doesn't want us to just watch, hear, know - but He asked us to watch AND Pray, to intercede, to stand in the gap.

The year 2010 started off a little cloudy, emmmm, dark - for the past one week.

The attacks on churches in Malaysia - ten so far - have shocked Malaysians of all races & religions. Call it a tragedy, a calamity, whatever, I see this as a wake-up call, an opportunity, a blessing in disguise.

A wake-up call for us Christians to stick together even closer,

An opportunity for us to shine & to retaliate with love even though we are so-called the victims in this case.

A time for Christian leaders to stand out & to display true righteousness in this nation.

A blessing in disguise, can you see it now?

The body of Christ is you & I. We share the pain & the sadness, but together, most importantly, let us pray for recovery, peace & justice.

The ‘Allah’ debate is still raging on, the number of churches been attacked is still counting on, the dissatisfaction among some Muslims can still be felt, but our God is in control & He has called us to love(the Muslims) & never stop loving, to pray & pray continuously, to trust & not be worry.

Christians, we need to pray like never before in this season. This nation needs our prayers, the people need the Lord.

In another part of the world, where the words 'tragedy' & 'calamity' are now best described in this situation.

The 7.0 earthquake that struck the Western Hemisphere's poorest nation - Haiti last Tuesday - as the Haitian's authorities said - had killed over 200,000 people. This earthquake has said to affect a third of the population, tragic indeed.

- Reports have been coming in hearing people complaining on slow pace of aid delivery into Haiti.

- People are still looking for loved ones in Haiti; people are grieving over the loss of their loved ones

- Many are fighting, begging for food & water supplies are still unavailable in many places. Thirsty people are dying

- Rescuers are still struggling to save some victims that are still trapped in the rubble.

- People sleeping by the roadside & in the tents are traumatized & do not understand why such had happened.

Let's all join hearts & pray for this nation, that they will be comforted by God, emotionally, spiritually & mentally. There's so little we can do, but so much to pray for.

Father Lord, we do not understand why You have allowed such a tragic thing to happen, but we always believe that there is a reason in everything that You have caused. It certainly breaks our hearts to see what is happening over in Haiti & we are sure that it breaks Yours too. We know that You are still sovereign & we pray for Your sovereignty to be shown even in such a time as this. We pray that the people there will continue to be strong in facing the situation & they will still believe that God, You still love & care for them. Send Your angels to comfort & protect them. Only You, Lord, can mend the broken heart, only You, can bring wholeness once again, only You can turn a widow & orphan's cry into singing. We praise You for who You are.

May the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, be with them & all of us. Amen.

The unofficial outing at KL

It was an absolutely beautiful Friday afternoon, where humans from different walk of life gathered. These humans were mainly composed of blur asian people... So, they congregated at the Concourse for their unofficial outing in KL.

Out of 5 cars, 1 was lost (hence, this sem theme- lost &found, just joking XP) driven by Brian and yes, his car was found. There was an unexpected guest too! Pearl Tan, our Korean translator and CF Ambassador of the day. For some Malaysians, it was an interesting day out because though they were Malaysians, they have hardly ever been to Kuala Lumpur before. They were a few steps closer in being fully Malaysian. We moved from KLCC to Pavillion (to find lost sheep) to a shop that sells Bak Kut Teh and Yong Tau Foo! The food was so good that one of our Korean mates said, "Chinese food is so good. I will bring my family here!"

There were a few random commentaries of the day,
Desmond was assummed to be around 24 to 25 years old and was said to be intelligent, funny and interesting.
Swee Ling was funny.
Brian was said to look like Hamtaro(?)...

Overall, it was a really great time of bonding between us and our Korean friends. They wanted to go to a cafe and get to know us better. The day ended really fast!

MMU Charity Event

Agape is a charitable event. It is a 3 days fair and on the last night, there'll be a musical drama. Free entrance for the drama. As for the fair, there'll be food stalls and games. Our aim for this event is to show the true meaning of Agape to the student body of MMU and to the community off campus. It would be great if you can come join and support us. =)

Our urgent needs are with the approaching Chinese New Year we hope ICF can help us to raise some funds for the residents to do some shopping to buy new clothes and maybe have a nice reunion meal. Most of the residents do not have a home to go to or are rejected by their family. We try and hope to remove loneliness during this festive occasion.

Yet another week in college passes by and it couldn't have ended better than to gather together and to praise the Lord's name. It was an amazing CF and our topic for the week was Free at last. We started with Prayer Requests followed by Praise and Worship. After that was our main event for the day, Shirley graced our CF with her presence and shared with us some really interesting facts about Depression that students undergo. After sharing and taking some snap shots, we closed in prayer and so ended another wonderful CF.

We started of with a rockin praise and worship session. Later we welcomed Abel Teh to our CF after having been to Inti Nilai's CF a numerous amount of times. It was brilliant having him with us and he shared some very interesting thoughts with us on Walking in the light of God. It was very nice to here he made it very interactive.

Hey guys and gals,

I am so sorry for updating the blog this late on our last CF Meeting but I told myself that Monday would be the latest and so it shall be. Unfortunately I don't have the photos yet so I will be adding them by tomorrow but what I want to do first is tell you guys what happened.

Friday was the usual hectic day, especially it being the first CF of the semester with our newbies coming in =D WOOT! Lol, it was great to see new faces after being exposed to OLD ones for too long hahaha, im joking.

We got things started off by each one of us introducing ourselves to five other newbies and then got down with Praise and Worship. Samson was our PW Leader for the day singing "Take it all" and "Mighty to save".

After an awesome singing session to get the adrenaline pumping it was time for our heart pounding CF Charades haha. Jamie had the game planned out and divided the whole group in 2. It was super fun and really hilarious to watch haha. This was no simple game, Jamie made it like super pro charades....NOT FAIR LOL, I am such a complainer =P

Next we had Vanessa talking about Why God is important in our lives and how we viewed God in our life. She also told us a little bit about a conference taking place called the "thinking theologically" conference 09.

Finally we had two testimonials shared, one by Pearl, a newcomer for our CF and another by Samson which were truly incredible to hear.

After all was said and done, it was time to EATTTTT haha. Brian closed in prayer and prayed for the food as well.

It was an awesome first CF for this semester and a promising start for yet another fruitful semester for the CF record books. Let us move together and work together all for the Glory of God. may God Bless you all and take care.

ICF Camp "WHY LOVE?"

Hey people,

You asked, you waited and here it finally is, the updates on the "Why Love" camp. I sincerely apologize for the delay but better late than never right? Haha, let us proceed, the camp for those of you who don't know took place from the 18th to the 21st of August. This camp was aimed at opening the way for seeds to be planted in many of our campers to keep their faith strong, to learn God's word and to have an awesome time doing it too. There were many activities and games planned that helped the campers bond and new friendships to grow.

Here is the timeline of what we did during camp

Day 1 : We left an hour late unfortunately and so we arrived an hour late (big surprise haha). After lunch, everyone was gathered back into the hall for groupings. Each group was asked to perform an action which was stated on a paper in their name tags. The rules were that everyone group had to come up with a cheer. Dang it was funny hahaha XD. The games group leaders were Kevin Phang, Tan Swee Vien, Kevin Tan, Samson Yap, Jessica Loke, and Sarah Low. Later in the day, games were awesome. Our first session, WHY LOVE 1, praise and worship was led by Tan Swee Vien. Pastor Victor took over and talked about how names are important and God looks at it.

Day 2 : We got Desmond( aka Desilah Pow XD) who is our camp's ALARM CLOCK woke us up sharp at 7. Without fail, everyday, the siren blares at 7am, look at it this way, we don't waste any time at all =P. Then the day resumed with the usual morning exercise which actually turned out well, pretty cool. After breakfast, all were gathered in the hall for our second session, WHY LOVE 2, and praise and worship which was led by Christine Ong. Pastor Vic talked about our famous topic "BGR part 1"(Boy-Girl relationship). Well, it definitely attracted many people with his story and jokes and given the fact that many of us like to hear info on the topic haha. After the second session, it was time for lunch followed by a resting time. Later in the day, the campers took part in station games. Later on at we had another rest break followed soon by dinner. This is where ICF implemented the monetary system of "bank notes" as an incentive for the games session. In the meantime, the worship team got together to practice and they ended up having their dinner late, sorry guys. So later, praise and worship was led by Kevin Tan followed by an enlightening sharing session by Pastor Victor.

Day 3 : It's the final day of camp and we started the day again of as usual, with MORNING EXERCISE (grumble) =P. After which we went for breakfast and then we all gathered back into the hall for our last session, WHY LOVE 4. Yeah worship was led by Phil G. Among all it was the fastest praise and worship. The third day was the most exciting day. Everyone was looking forward to the main event among all the games planned which was the spectacular and gargantuan HYDRO-WAR. Every games group leader got their members to get their weapons ready. Some used water guns and some used spraying bottles for this skirmish between elite water fighters haha. After a good drenching, it was up to the beach for some games just for fun. At night, we had campfire but the fire had trouble staying alight but During the time more importantly, the amazing Race was going on.

Day 4 : Nothing much. Just lots of packing and getting stuff good. All were good and it was time to head back home after an eventful and funfilled camp.

Well that's more or less what happened, now what's a big event like this without photos, TONS and TONS of photos. Haha.

And so as we come to a close, the camp was in my opinion indeed quite enjoyable even though I spent majority of the time behind a camera, I managed to get a piece of the action in Hydro-War when I was squirted in the face with a water gun lol. Hard work was a necessity to keep this camp running but great fun and memories was repayment enough as well as learning some important lessons that help us walk towards a better tommorow. Amen.

Crisis Home Visitation

Hey people! Maybe some of us may wonder where and what is all about crisis home? it is a home where abandon people who suffered with HIV disease is being taken care of by a group of volunteers lead by this man, Mr. Isaac. It is located in Jalan Awan Besar at old klang road. A total of 20 of us went to visit them mainly to show love and care to these people. It was a fantastic trip even though we still lost our way there. HAHA! So, do join us once again if we are going there next semester. Its an eye opening to most of us. In the beginning, some of us were afraid to shake their hands or even touch them but when Mr. Isaac shared his life experience with those people, we finally learned to understand and not to ignore them as a different category of people. Don't worry, you don't have to wear long baju or long seluar to cover up all your hands and legs..what more important is..if you're sick..do not go near them as their life is put into risk due to their low immune system. Keep praying for these people so that God will continue to motivate and encourage them. Lets watch the video and see what we did there.

Au Revior

We have reached the end of the semester again. As the final CF meeting of the semester, we held our send-off theme "Au Revior". Fitting.

After the regular prayer session, we started things off with worship led by both Julian and Alexis. We started off slow with songs like "Consuming Fire" and ended it with a bang with "Counting On God". That set the mood for the rest of the day.

Later, Bradon led us in a time of fun with 2 really simple team games. First was a kind of relay race, but with a twist- Tissue papers! Each team were to compete with each other on seeing who could switch the fastest, with the baton being a single piece of tissue (which can only be blown to keep afloat).

Later, Brandon introduced another game. It comprised of people blowing a ping-pong ball agaisnt each other on a flat table. Yes, we know there is a "blowing" theme that was going on. But rest assured, it did not "blow".

Next, we previewed a video concerning our HIV trip that was held earlier in the semester. The video served as an announcement from our President, Brian that we should be having that trip as a regular semesterly feature.

After a brief group photo session, it was time to say a proper goodbye to those who are leaving the CF this semester. GOODBYE to the 4 who are leaving us : Dana, Alexis, Kylie and Nicholas.

After each of them gave a small farewell speech and some words of encouragement, we had a small prayer for them and their life's journey.

After that, it was the conclusion of the meeting. We had some food at the end and fellowship. Final goodbyes were said and hugs were given. After all, this semester and any other, we are still who we are -INTI Christian Fellowship.

Stop Labelling

Sup, peeps! Yesterday we had our last message-themed meeting for the semester, titled "Stop Labelling". As you can tell by the title, it dwells in the inner-intricities of human nature....can't understand? Read on!

We started the meeting with our usual worship led by Cally. A mixture of old (Still and Hold Me Now) and new (Deep Of Your Grace and I Just Want You) songs were sent throughout the hall.

Seeing that the congregation's post-worship attitude was so hyped up for the word of God, our PIC, Kylie went on to present our speaker for the day-Ms. Annette.

Ms. Annette spoke of how we as humans would definitely have prejudices towards others, and how it is human nature to do so. However, we must learn not to discriminate and create stereotypes towards people who are different from us. Moreover, we must learn to create equality.

"Dont STEREOTYPE."

After the message has sunk in, the meeting ended there and then. Before that, however, Kylie reminded us all that next week's meeting would be our last as a CF for the semester. Be sure to come to bid farewell to those who are leaving us! See you there!

U Jump, I Jump

Yesterday was our BGR topic "U Jump, I Jump". No, it does not have anything to do with suicide, but rather.....well read on to find out!

w3e started off with a little game introduced by our Person-In-Charge, Nicholas, called "Question It". The game revolves around asking each other only questions. As such, no answering, laughing, pausing and anything other that a question in allowed.

We had Ps. Sandra from Acts Church speak to us about relationships.

Ladies and gentlemen, Ps Sandra

There was basically 2 words that she emphasized, which were: Honour and Respect. To the girls, they should conduct themsleves and make choices in which to maintain their honour and others respect towards themselves. They should not give in to demands in which they would later regret.

To the boys, they should not make requests or take illicit actions where it wouls jeoperdise the integrity of his partner. Furthermore, he should not take advantage of his partner's emotional weakness. All should maintain the honour and respect that they full deserve.

After a small reply worship, the meeting ended.

Yesterday we had Pastor Victor come again and deliver our "To LOVE or HATE" week.

We started off with worship led by Dana Lee. She coordinated songs such as "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus", "At the Cross", "Second Chance" and "Came to My Rescue".

Later, our person-in-charge, Desmond, handed out questionares concerning camp.

Next, we had Pastor Victor come on to deliver his sermon. As some of you would not know, Pastor, Victor is going to be our camp speaker for the upcoming ICF Camp.

He talked about friendship and what it means. How we should not stoop ourselves to become untrustworthy as friends. He ended it with a small reply worship.

Greetings all!! Yesterday we had another meeting titled "Love him or Him?" .Confusing? Not if you came!

Things kicked off with Yukesan introducing a though provoking debate styled ice-breaker. Everone was divided into 2 groups and was later required to present their thoughts about whether "The heart is the most important" aspect of our faith.

Later, Cally led worship with heartfelt "Open the eyes of my heart, Lord", followed up with "None but Jesus" and "With all I am".

After some anouncements, we passed the time to the pastor for the week.

Young looking by some accounts, his message was driven and inspiring. Dealing with the problems that we as college must face up to everyday in our lives and how we should implement the teachings that has been given to us.

Reach Out

Hey everyone! Yesterday we had our Reach Out meeting led by our Brother Yuong Eng!

We first started out a short worship session led by our prayer coordinator Samson.

After songs such as Mighty To save, we adjourned to our ice-breaker. The ice-breaker, conducted by Brittania, was basically everyone given a piece of paper each that has various physical attributes or abililites such as: Tallest person, Eldest Person, Able to touch nose with tougue, among others.

Our objective: to find another person in which correlates with that ability or attribute.

The ice-breaker was great fun as it got us to know each other better than before, and it certainly gave us an excuse to welcome newcomers. :)

Finally, it was time for Brother Yuong eng's message.

He first organised us into 3 groups and gave us a small passage and an assignment (thank goodness it wasnt evaluated into our course structure or something). The assignment was to read the passage from the bible and to act out the gist of the passage.

Hence, came the 3 Jesus's:

After much hilarity, Brother Yuong Eng posed the fundamentals of the passage and talked about how we should emulate what he did in our own personal Christian life. Cristianity doesnt end in CF or church.

After a word of prayer we adjourned.

Just A Friend?

Yesterday we had our 1st message themed "Just a Friend?". As you can guess, it was about friendship.

We started with a small ice-breaker led by Erica. It was a super fun game which definitely fulfilled the purpose of everyone remembering each others names. We would like to wish all newcomers WELCOME!! and hope that you will support us for weeks to come.

Christine Sr. led worship with songs such as Awesome In This Place, You Are Welcome and Through IT All that really touched everyone. A few announcements were made including HIV trip, INTI Ball, ICF camp. Everyone come and participate!

Our speaker for the day was Pastor Victor Gonzalez. Everyone who has heard him speak would know his enthusiasm for ministry. True enough, he was fired up to talk about his life experiences pertaining to the topic at hand- Friendship.

He was thorough in reminding us that true friendship is more that hanging out and just words. Using Saul's son Jonathan as a model, he pointed out the keys to being a TRUE friend, and that we should all learn and instil these virtues in our lives. As the pastor ended his message we went into a word a prayer and thus concluded the meeting.

We hope that everyone would be free for this week's "Reach Out" and we hope to see you all there!!!

Friendship DAY

HIYA Everyone! Yesterday we had our very on "Friendship Day"!

Afte some light worship, our PIC, Angeline started off with some introductions. We had quite a few new members yesterday and we got to know a little more about them.

After that, Angeline led us in a game similar to "Blow Wind Blow". Usual chaos ensued coupled with laughter.

Next, we started to get down to real buisness. we started to seperate ourselves into 2 groups. The 2 groups represent the 2 cell groups that are going to be held starting from next week onwards.

Lastly, we ended the meeting with a group game called "Charades".

A day of joy ended the way it began- with fun and laughter. That is "Friendship Day".

Youth Camp

Intro Day

Hey everyone!! Welcome back to another semester of Glory-For-God Greatness that is INTI CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP!!

As you would all know from our recent posting, yesterday we had our very first ICF meeting of the semester in Lecture Hall 3, courtesy of Ms Khor. We are glad to start this semester with a BANG and the hall definately helped.

We started with a worship led by Christine Sr.(:>) with soong such as Friend of God, Now that You're Near and Eagles Wings.

After worship, Brian led a small round of "3 man round up" as ice-breaker. Newcomers were definitely shy in the beginning with the prospect of holding a stranger's hand (especially boys.....), but as the music picked up, even they threw aside all bashfulness. Where there is an ice-breaker, there were surely losers.....and yes, the losers were PUNISHED.

With the ice "broken", we were finally ready to introduce our theme for this semester.....*drum roll*

WHY LOVE?

Brian led the introduction. Why Love? was chosen because we want to emphasize n love and compassion in this world now when it is filled with so much discord.

Our objectives this semester is to reach a close relationship with GOD, our friends and family, and with the community.

Next we will introduce our committee for this semester. We would like to bid farewell and good luck to the pass committee members who have now moved on to other opportunities in life. THANK YOU Swee Vien, Sarah, Amy, Fiona, Christine Ong (Sr) and Adrian for your hard work and dedication you all have given us.

How was your day??Great?Awesome?

Today, ICF was again different! Woahhh...Well, we wanna make things exciting and fun right??So, we've gotta be different with surprises!heehe

We started of with a round of icebreaker..First, Swee Vien paired the members and passed them a piece of newspaper. Then, she asked them to find words from the newspaper..!(haha.sorry guys, actually it was just a trick..in conjunction with April's Fool!lol)

Next, we played the musical newspaper..Winners were standing on a newspaper halved 4 times!Not bad!!

After offering was collected, we had a 1 post-Bible quiz question. And and..the person who got it right gets a product from Starbucks( and everyone thought it was Starbucks tissue!haha)Go check out Isaiah 58:11!!

We continued with our guest speaker of today..A Korean Pastor, Ps. Paul Kim who has been living in Malaysia for the past 10 years. He shared on our purpose living on this earth.(Mark 13:13) The 3 S prblems that we face..!. Separation from God, Sin and Satan..and how to solve these problems..And our purpose as Christians is to share the Word of God to others who have yet to hear and receive it.

Then, after that, we had a time of worship led by Christine Jr. and Brit! Different, eh?

Yup, that was about it! Oh..family photoo..heheh

Well, Next week is our LAST CF of this semester..! Bittersweet feeling for everyone as some will be leaving us!But nevertheless, we're gonna have a grand celebration..it's FAREWELL and THANKSGIVING.. So, if you wanna thank God for whatever He has done for this whole sem, come and share with us! Hey GUYS!!and of cos GIRLS!!

Just a quick update on last week's CF. We had a totally different session cos we had BIBLE QUIZ for the 1st time in CF history!!haha
CF started with praise and worship led by Brian. Simple , yet powerful!

Okay, let's get to the main agenda. So we had a different type of Bible Quiz. Not the usual typical one where everyone sit and answer the questions on a paper. ( y'know..like exam style one??)
So,before I began with how the quiz was..let's give a big round of applause to the 2 masterminds..kecil tapi sangattt licik!haha..Swee Ling and Fiona!!

Alright, here's how it goes..There were 2 rounds of the quiz.. Individuals and Groups.
For the individual round, the game was played like the "poison ball" game? Where the ball is passed around and once the music stops, the person holding the ball is suppose to answer the quiz..EHhhh..wait..it's 2 paper balls actually!!So 2 person will answer the quiz..
Look at em..they were really really hyper!
And, the person who gets the correct answer and is the fastest wins..

WAIT WAIT...I haven't reach the che-chenggg part..!haha

Becos the person won, he/she will have to 'punish' the loser..By adding weird ingredients to a plate of mee hun and making the loser eat!!Wanna see how it looked like after a few rounds??haha

This was just the beginningThen, after adding mayo,pepper,chilli,tomato,chocolate sprinkles,salt,sugar..etc etc.Look how gross it was? We've gotta say some girls are better of than guys..brave-er I mean!! Good job!!Hopefully y'all didnt get stomach ache..haha..but yes, all the ingredients are edible!!

Then we went on to the Group round where it goes by 'siapa cepat, dia dapat' thing. And the winners were a bunch of smart students who kneww the Bible soo well..!Winning ques..Woe to me....by Isaiah!Very good job!

It was a fun and vibrant day..But it was more fun cos all the CF members were really sporting!

So, it's a lil late for this note but for CF tomorrow (27/03/09), we've invited a Korean pastor to share with us. Do come( same place block b room 209 SOLLA, same time 1-3pm) if u wanna hear the Word of God shared by him!SEE YOU THEN!!

Hey guys!
Just feel like showing all of you this picture..Got it from my ex school's CF.
Do you know that God love's you?Do you know that He actually, willingly sent His One and Only Precious Beloved Son whom He love soooo much to die on the cross for our sins?The wrong things that we did or are going to do?

So, if you ever feel discourage or troubled, remember that Jesus loves you. Yes, and that's why He asked us to cast all our anxieties on Him becos He cares for us.

And, if you ever feel that maybe sometimes your prayers aren't answered or if you ever feel that God is not near you, well, He did assure us in Hebrews 13:5b that "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you". Pray and ask God for peace.That's the best we can do right?And of cos trust and believe that He'll answer our prayers at the right time.

Well, I hope this post has encourage you in one way or another to stop worrying and start believing. Let's make the impossible possible, aight?Let's expect the unexpected!

JESUS REALLY LOVES YOU. It's a matter of you accepting this promise.

Hey kings and queens!
HEllo once again! If you're wondering how come this few days got alot of updated post ahh, it's becos we had lotsa exciting activites these few dayss...

Yes, as you can see on the title, today, ICF visited Crisis home in OKR.
We started of the day with a super duper short briefing by Ms. President in college. There were 18 of us who went!!SO, for those who missed it out...too badd..too sad...Join us next sem kay?hehe
Car no 3?

Well, many of you might probably have the perception that HIV infected people are harmful people, But we can seriously tell you(cos we saw it with our own eyes!!) that they're not. The people we met there, approx 12ppl were probably one of the most friendliest people you have ever met.
Seriously, they seem so happy and full of the love that Christ has given them. They seem renewed, like as if they have been born again and given a 2nd chance experience life again with the LOrd.
So, we lost out way for bout an hour!lol..but finally manage to reach there and continued our agenda..To start of the day, Ms. President gave a short 'welcome and thank you' speech. Her speech was translated by a helper there, Bro. Adam!

See-ing the smiles on their faces that there are people out there who cares for them really really really brightened up our day!

Next, we had a cheerful praise and worship led by our Ms. Worship Coordinator..She sang Hari Ini and Soraklah haleluya( in 3 diff languages!!) and the people there were really singing their hearts out!With actions somemoree!!haha

Then after that, we continued with an icebreaker planned by the guys (Yukesan, Brian, Desmond, Julian, Brandon..man power?lol) Becos most of the people there were not able to converse in English, we had to play the game in BM. Funny, though. Ikan Besar? Ikan Kecil?lol. Followed by Betul?Salah?haha..Really, funny!

Two of our fellow Cf-ians got forfitted!! Then, we played another game "Gong Xi Fatt Choi"ahh..!I tell you, these people+our CF members were reallyyyy hyper..We had one uncleforfitted and he was really sporting I tell u!!
After that..MAKAN TIME!!! CF bought for em roti canai, served them, ate along and fellowship. Really sad to hear some of their backgrounds and this became an eye opener for us youngsters.

NExt, we had a short time of testimony, though it turned out abit long cos there were sooo many great testimonies that needed to be shared. There's this guy who shared bout how he came to know Christ after he fell into drugs..really awesome to hear such wonders God can do to this people!!

And another who shared of his leg( he use to be/walk 4-legged) but God healed him. It's amazing man and only ALL glory goes to God!

And also another who shared about going to prison due to drugs also, and was visited by a sister..He bcame a believer soon after that and now He's really really serving the Lord! Cool.. So, after all the testimonies, we continued on with a short time of worship thanking the Lord for whatever He has done and proclaiming tht we will always love Him..! We concluded by thanking them for having us here today! and hoping that we will be able to visit them again the next time! Well, that sums it all..

We should really really reach out to this people for most of them have been isolated by the world out there. Go make a difference in their lives! Show them that you care for them becos God also cares for everyone, yes everyone-regardless of who we are and what we may have gone thru. Yes, that includes all u readers!!

So, if you havent, start to take this step of faith and serve the Lord thru this ministry(reaching out) and you'll be amazed to see how many lives God can touch thru this.

Hey dudees and dudetteees! Today was a really awesomeness day!

Indeed God's presence truly filled our Cf room today. Well, for those of you who are still wondering why, it's becos we had our High Praise of Semester 09!!

We had an amazing one-half hour of TOTAL praise and worship!!Different, eh?
We started off with catchy praise songs led by Brian Chow! Songs like Tell the World, All Day and One Way were sung. Okay, this week, the members were really really really responsive..!

Everyone was jumpin and praisin' the Lord!
After that, we had a lil surprise for everyone..! We had a special video presentation of a summary of what is praise and worship all about, and why do we worship God. Kudos to Julian for makin the video happened!Later, we continued this event with a time of worship, of really surrendering ourselves to God, and proclaiming His great love to us. This session was led by our dearest pressie Christine Sr.. She sang songs like Amazing love, There is none like You, You alone and a new song Love of my Life.

Well, just a question to ask. What is the purpose of worshipping God? Why do we worship Him?Think about it.. Think about what He has done for us that deserves our praise..=)

After that, we had a short time of prayer where we gathered into groups of two's and three's to pray for one another. Great time to encourage people to pray!!

Then, we had our finalee..led by Swee Vien, she sang songs like Lord You are Good, Majesty and Time has come.."God is GOOD...ALL the time..and ALL the TIME..GOD IS GOOD!!" AMEN!! Everyone was really hyped up though the songs were really really fast..But but..Inti CF goers are really energetic people. Nope, never tire easily..! Christine on the drums..woohoooo

Well, that sums the day..Bottom line, it was a really great and enjoyable time to praise God together with everyone! So, for those who missed it..Wellll..Guess you should not miss it the next one?haha..

One on One

Hello All! Last week we had our "One on One" week!

We started off a little different last week with an ice-breaker instead of worship.
The game simple gives a number of specific body parts that has to be on the floor at one time, and ONLY those parts.

"Thats how to do it!"

Later, we continued with worship lead by Christine Lee.

We would also like to congratulate Brandon Lee(guitar) for starting to his service for GOD here in CF!

After announcements and offering, our message was given by our ever vigilant Yuong Eng.

He told us to come up with words that we think can associate with our current semester Theme "SURGE", which if any of you can remember is "Seeking Ultimate Relationship with God Everyday"

The results are hilarious.

After the message was said and done, we ended with prayer.

Whats up everyone!! In conjunction with Valentines Day (and for us single people out there- Single's Awareness Day) tomorrow, we had our special BGR themed session this week called "XXY"!! (No, it's not the chromosome structure of a man with female body parts)

We started off with a worship lead by Brian with songs such as "Rain Down" and "Burn".

We would also like to welcome 2 new people that was serving this week which are:

And Elvin (LCD)

Later, we had another cool ice-breaker game whereby people got "moderately" hurt and the person next to him/her would jeer. (no, its doesn't sound like a very kind game does it?). The game basically is a person gets hit by the person next him, then the person on the other side would say "ouch" and the next person would say "very good, very good!". Yea bad game right?

"OW!!"

Well, we had good results today where no less than 2 of the committee got "punished".

After that was done, we had our speaker, Pastor Gideon, to come and share with us about BGR.

His message was simple. There are for kinds of love in Greek, which are: Eros, Philia, Storge and Agape and that we should love one another just as how Jesus and God have loved us.

MAC-Ministry And calling

Hey again everyone! Yesterday we had "MAC" week. NO, we are not endorsing Apple products......It's "Ministry And Calling" week!!

Well, first of all, we once again began with a time of worship. Christine (Sr.) started off with a body-shaking "Trading My Sorrows" that really roused the crowed. We will like to take this opportunity to welcome and congratulate Desmond(guitarist) and Nathaniel(vocalist) for serving in the worship team this week. We DO admire your work.

Bust a move people!

Later, we had a little ice breaker referred to as the "Blanket Game". The main objective is for a team's representative to speak out the opponent team's representative's name before he/she does likewise. The veil of mystery of who that representative will be is provided by a blanket between them. It was a game that really suited the purpose of ice breaker as it encouraged everyone to know each other's name (at the least).

"Oh my gosh! What do I do!!!"

Finally, we had a very special guest that day in Grace Klang's Youth Pastor, Pastor Gurmit. His message was simple... We are all leaders and are called by God, and thus, we should use our blessings from God in service of his ministry. Simple, clear-cut and effective.

Welcome back everyone!

Today we had our very own friendship day to commemorate the Friday before we leave for the Chinese New Year break. We had a slightly different meeting compared to normal today, as everyone who went can tell you.

We started off with a soulful worship session lead by Raymond Ow. Songs such as "Friend of God" and "Light of the World" were sung.

After that, we had an unusual game that was planned by Brian Chow called "Banana Futsal".

The rules are similar to a normal futsal game. 2 5-man teams square off on a small court, and try to kick a football with our feet into each other team's goal. The only difference between that and what we played is that instead a "football", we used a tennis ball; instead of a "goal", we used table legs; instead of "kick", we had "use-banana-tied-to-string-in-between-legs-to-hit-ball".

Later, we had a very special guest today. For the first time in ICF history, we had a MAGICIAN to perform/share with us.

Everyone, say hello to Zlwin Chew!

Here's a rough introduction. Zlwin Chew our magician for that day, who is only 20 years old and have invested an estimated amount of RM4000 on his magic.

Today, Zlwin had shown a number of magic *bleep*(i cant say tricks....Zlwin made a very clear point on that). With a couple of volunteers, he literally made the audience's mouth stay wide open. *gasp! and "What the h***" were quite audible, thank you.

At the end, Zlwin shared a final magic *bleep* that literally showered us, coupling that with a life testimony, he really gave us something to remember.

He later ended on a dissolving note with the song "Amazing Grace", and that was the end of that.

As next week is the Chinese New Year holidays, there will be no CF next Friday. We look forward to see all of on the Friday after that!!

Intro: Theme Talk/Intima Week

Hello again everyone!! It's great to finally be back for CF!! We hope that everyone has had a nice relaxing 2/1 month of holidays. As everyone should know, last week was Intima Week and we would like to give a shout out to everyone who had help the club put up the board, not to mention all others who have supported our club. Thank you all!!

For those who went, last Friday was also our first CF meeting of the Semester!! Of course, with the new year comes some new changes. We are glad to inform everyone that our venue has changed to Room 209 at the SOLLA Office in block C.

We started off with a rousing worship session lead by Swee Vien. Songs like "Hari Ini" and "Blessed be Your Name" were sung a crowed full of new faces.

After a stellar worship session, it was time to introduce the new theme for this semester.....and the winner(theme) is......SURGE.

For those who did not have the chance to see it on our Intima Week board, SURGE stands for "Seeking Ultimate Relationship with GOD Everyday". It is a testimony that we hope that every member would achieve.

We also have new objectives this semester but it wasn't announced during the meeting. Our new objectives are:
1. Fellowship- to promote unity among all
2. getting ready for the call.
3. Word- more word for stronger foundations.

This year, we would like to express our sincerest goodbyes to a long serving committee member- Adrian lee. Thank you for your hard work all of those semesters of service. Of course, with every semester comes with the introduction of NEW committee members! We would like welcome our new committee members for this semester Brian Chow and Kylie Cheong!

Finally after all the announcements were over, we had little game session in an effort to impart our objectives onto our CF-comers and to encourage fellowship between them. The game is lead by Brian Chow.

Even though thats it for last week, it doesn't that's the end!! Come join us next week for "Friendship DAY". Come and have some fun with a weirdly fun game and enjoy a performance by a Magician!

Hello everyone!!

This week we had our final UNOFFICIAL meeting. And all we did then can be summed up in this limerick:

This day we gathered,
We worshiped, we sang;
For God it was for,
His Son the lamb.

A game we played,
And stories shared;
Lessons we learnt,
Yuong Eng lead.

Fun we had,
Tears may have shed;
Next year we meet,
Then comes, be glad.
