His Way: The Light

Hello everyone!!

This week we had our final UNOFFICIAL meeting. And all we did then can be summed up in this limerick:

This day we gathered,
We worshiped, we sang;
For God it was for,
His Son the lamb.

A game we played,
And stories shared;
Lessons we learnt,
Yuong Eng lead.

Fun we had,
Tears may have shed;
Next year we meet,
Then comes, be glad.

Have a happy holidays and God Bless!!

Wrap Up

Hello everyone!!

This week we had our final official meeting of the year- Wrap UP.
After our normal worship session, we had a very different meeting as compared to our typical style. Last week was more of a "sharing" meeting.

On that day we also had a "So Long" party if you will to all those who are leaving the college after that semester. Fortunately, there was only one - Daniel. Nonetheless, he WILL be sorely missed.

A final performance from our soon to be missed friend.

Lastly, after presenting a parting gift to the soon to be departed, we adjourned to one final fellowship of the year.

Egg......saaallllllaaaadddd......

Heres to ICF!! Another year, Another Life For God!!

See you all next year!!

Highly Flammable

Greetings once again!!!

Last Friday we had our worship themed Highly Flammable meeting! the main focus was on the worship of our Lord God.

We started straight away with our worship session led by both Brian Chong and our worship coordinator, Swee Vien, through a host of songs: Did You feel the Mountains Tremble? History Maker, Saviour king and Consuming Fire.

Worship Once again

After our usual collection of the offering, we had our guest speaker, Youth Pastor Alex from Acts Church to speak to us about the main points of worship. That worship isn't just about singing, its also about praising God in whatever we do and meaning it. The young looking pastor spoke with humor and passion that struck the audience.

Our "Young" Pastor

Different from our usual meetings, this time we followed up with a post-message worship that really kept the ambiance flowing. After some announcements, the meeting concluded.

Please take note that there will be a meeting next Friday (3/10/08) themed Caution! Explosive. Furthermore, our usual Prayerlicious would continue except on Wednesday.
Looking forward to see you all next week!!

Who Am I

Heya...its been awhile since I visited this blog. Glad to see that its up and running. It's been awhile since I posted something here so since I am so free (hehe) I will post something. I was reading through the blog and I stumbled upon the Search Lock Engage video. Haha good memories of fun and fellowship.

I was reminded of the song Pastor Sivin Kit sang in that camp entitled "Who Am I" by Casting Crowns. Awesome song. The message in that song is clear: who are we that God would care to know our names, and would care to feel our hurt? And even when we wander off He is there waiting for us to come back with open arms without any condemnation. Awesome isn't it? He is always there for us although we dont really feel it or sometimes when we go off course.

Anyway I have found an awesome video and would like to post it here for everyone to view. See the things people will do to portray God's love for everyone. Enjoy :)
