Who Am I

Heya...its been awhile since I visited this blog. Glad to see that its up and running. It's been awhile since I posted something here so since I am so free (hehe) I will post something. I was reading through the blog and I stumbled upon the Search Lock Engage video. Haha good memories of fun and fellowship.

I was reminded of the song Pastor Sivin Kit sang in that camp entitled "Who Am I" by Casting Crowns. Awesome song. The message in that song is clear: who are we that God would care to know our names, and would care to feel our hurt? And even when we wander off He is there waiting for us to come back with open arms without any condemnation. Awesome isn't it? He is always there for us although we dont really feel it or sometimes when we go off course.

Anyway I have found an awesome video and would like to post it here for everyone to view. See the things people will do to portray God's love for everyone. Enjoy :)

Wrap Up

Hey everyone! Last week was our last ever ICF meeting for the semester. Here’s a summary on what we did!

Last week’s meeting started by worship as usual. Then, there was a prayer session for the students who are leaving or graduating and for everyone on doing well for finals. After that, we took a few groups pictures to capture this precious memory. Finally, we rounded the semester and session off with our last ultra joyful worship.

So comes the end of the semester. It has been a lot of laughs, pain and joy. To those who are leaving, we bid you goodbye. To those who are coming, we bid you welcome. Look forward to the future and may God bless us all. See you all next semester!!

The Mission

Welcome back everyone!

Last week we had our special guest come and visit us all the way from Korea!
We started of with a light worship session by none other than Swee Ling. Later, our special guest gave us a heart warming tribute and performed dramas that were provocative and thoughtful. The highlight of this meeting was when they lead US in singing a MALAY song. How cool is that!!?

There was no need to mention how nice and thoughtful they were even though they were our guests. They bought food and drinks for us all to fellowship and even gave the ICF people gifts including 3 different balls: a basketball, a football, and a volleyball, together with ball pump.

We ended the day by us all going down to the empty space behind the basketball court for a small photo session!! We could all tell that everyone was glad for having such nice and thoughtful guest.

Next week, we come to the closing of this semester's last ICF meeting. Even though it might be emotional (lol)...all good things must come to an end.....and then begin again! So why dont you all come down to our last meeting for this semester "Wrap UP"! See you there!

MUVEE

Welcome back everyone!

Last week, we had our special special meeting themed MUVEE! And you guessed it, we spent it watching a movie!
After a quick warship session, announcements and prayer, we moved on to the main highlight of that day's meeting. The movie was called "The Gospel" which was about a young man from a Christian home going through the journey of his life and finally found the Lord who brought him back. It was a truly inspirational movie and I bet everyone who was watching it would recommend it.

P2P: Praise to Prayer

Hello everyone, last friday (11/7/08), we had a very special session in ICF. The entire session was devoted to a 2 hour long worship cum prayer session.

The worship session was lead by none other than our own concert worship leader Sarah Lee. she and her band went through 2 hours of worship. At certain intervals we held prayers for things like the Sze Chuan earthquake and the ICF in general. The session ended on a high note and everyone defintely felt spirit-filled during and after the session.
