Beauty of Attitudes

Hey everyone!



Last week we had our Beauty of Attitudes session spoke by a very special speaker for Australia!

first we started of with a spirit-filled worship session by Swee Vien. As usual, we also intorduced new members to ICF. It is encouraging to know that even this late into the semester, we still have new members ccoming in!

Our speaker, Pastor Catherine is from Ausatralia. She spoke about the attitudes that a christian should have and those that a christian shouldnt. What was different about this session is that the Pastor open up question and answer session where we could ask her question, whether about christian philosophy, biblical contexts, and even her own personal life.



Next week, we'll be having our Prayer Sheild session by the youth famous Pastor Sandra!

ICF Concert

Hey, peeps !!!

ICF CONCERT is coming soon.


Date: 4th July 2008
Time: 7pm - 11pm
Venue: MPH, Inti SJ.
Admission: RM5 ( for fund raising and charity )

It's time for us to reach out the campus, to show that God loves everyone. Not only that, we are helping each other to build a strong love relationship with God and to know Jesus as the Way, the Truth and the Life. It also provides as a time of reflection and ponder on the greatness of our God, spend time with Him.

Not only bring yourself come, Bring your friends along !!!

In conjunction with the concert, we're havin a food fair at our old block CONCOURSE at 2nd and 3rd July 2008.

Set lunch at only RM5 will be sold. It's a combination of spaghetti or nasi lemak and fruit juices.

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

Once again, welcome back to our weekly CF.

Our topic for last meeting was "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". It's mainly about bgr. hahaa ... sounds so interesting. I think is suitable for those ppl who intend to get into a relationshipf or maybe those who already in a relationship and of cuz the topic suits everyone of us.

We'd Pastor Andy as our speaker. After playing the ice breaker prepared by Anittah and worship session, we went into the topic. Ps Andy told us about his love story from a young teenager till he married. And yeah, it was really great and we're shocked about the process how he got married. Once again, he told us that faith and God's will hav to be followed.

Next, he told us abt the ground rules that hav to be obeyed in relationship. it's always wise that put marriage as the 1st priority in your relationship, ask yourself why you need a relationship. is becuz ppl have and i wanna too, or becuz the appearance or wat sort of. anyways, he told us the responsibilities in a relationship. someone ppl will blame each other when anything goes wrong in the relationship. therefore the main thing that has to be in a relationship is faith and commitment. before marriage, strictly NO pre-marital sex. as ps andy said "once its broken, it considered sold". yeah, we hav to bear the responsibility. it is not for fun or wat else. therefore, think be4 u do. He proposed that b4 one got financial steady or the heart is unready, pls do not step in the line as u may not able to handle such problems. think of ur future when ya wanna get started. think about the future of u and ur partner.

Ps andy's words opened our mindset. so do think twice before u start a relationship or do anything.

Knights Of Glory

Hey all!

Last Friday we had our Knights of Glory message, and boy was it good! But before that, we had a great worship lead by our very own ICF secretary, Swee Ling. Another highlight was that we have started to collect offerings for the earthquake victims in China. Don't worry if you've missed that, cause you still have a chance!

Last week's message was given by our very own brother Young Eng. His message titled "The Armor Of GOD" spoke about how the apostle Paul wrote those verses by drawing inspiration from the roman guards and how each and every part of the armor bears a significance to our faith and christiandome.

FOS: Fruits Of the Spirit

Hello everyone!!

Last week we had our first real cf with a speaker for this semester!! And to kick things off, we decided to start with a real meaningful theme: Fruits of the Spirit!!!

We started things off with worship led by Christine. Then we continued with the introduction of some new attendees for cf. Though they were a bit shy at first, they soon got warmed up pretty quick. Remember when we first joined cf??

Last week we had pastor Clarance, a youth pastor from CLC Klang to preach about the fruits of the spirit. He was speaking about the 9 fruits of the spirit and how we can incorporate them into our lives.

Anyway, that's it. We look forward to seeing all of you next meeting, Knights of Glory!!
